Looking Inward: White Privilege and Our Ally-ship Journeys

Racial justice starts from within. Only when white people reckon with our own privilege and internalized racism can we start to make meaningful progress toward racial justice in the world.

Join us in a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore ways racism and privilege show up in our own lives, and work to deepen our anti-racist identities. Among the questions we’ll discuss are: How do I benefit from white privilege? How does my privilege distort my beliefs and impact my actions? What will I do to grow in my ally-ship journey?

White people must find a personal, internal motive for anti-racism work—one rooted not in guilt, but in reclaiming their own humanity. Whiteness, as a system, creates disconnection, limits empathy, and disrupts relationships. Dismantling it is an ongoing, communal practice of restoring connection, compassion, and authentic human capacity. Let’s do this work together.
