Join us for a conversation with Dr. Wylin D. Wilson, a professor at Duke University, who is a committed advocate for Black women regarding health inequities in the US and author of newest book, is Womanist Bioethics: Social Justice, Spirituality, and Black Women’s Health (NYU Press 2025). In the book, Dr. Wilson draws from womanist and Black liberation theology and bioethics to make the essential case that, because African American women fare worse than others across almost every health indicator, we must not only include, but center Black women’s their experiences and voices in discussions about healthcare in the US.
